Roma coach Claudio Ranieri admits Europa League rivals Tottenham Hotspur are in great form and the Giallorossi must play smart.

“It won’t be an easy game. Tottenham are in a great moment. The last game they played unbelievably. Tottenham pressed and played a good game. I like this style of play. The coach is doing a great job with the team. I congratulate him.”
“We have studied this team, they have a full engine. We have to be smart and move the ball quickly,” Ranieri said of Tottenham Hotspur’s 4-0 win at Manchester City.
Ranieri also spoke about veteran defender Hummels, who has just played two games for Roma. Both as a substitute. Including the latest game in which they lost 0-1 at Napoli.
“He is an incredible player with experience in Europe. He played 45 minutes and we will see if he can recover.” Ranieri said of Hummels.
“Hummels? He has incredible experience: He gave confidence to the team with his high pressure though he is still not in top condition. I am convinced that he can do very well in Roma’s defense.”
